A note on this space: for the past year, this blog was signed as “dotkoak”—a name that held deep personal meaning, rooted in knowing myself as a daughter of the King of all Kings. I’m now writing under my own name, Michelle Elleana. The heart behind the words hasn’t changed—only the name on the cover.
My name is Michelle Elleana,
Servant of Jesus. Everything else is overflow.
This space is shaped by what God carries me through. Faith, for me, is not abstract. It is lived—through grief, through healing, through a life being restored by His hands. What once felt like survival alone, I now recognize as being held.
Here, poetry becomes prayer.
Prayer becomes breath.
And breath becomes a way back to Him.
His breath is my life—what sustains me, steadies me, and carries me forward each day.
And the ashes… what once felt broken or lost—He does not waste. He gathers it, redeems it, and uses it for good.
I write from lived experience—what God is walking me through, what He is revealing, what He is healing.
There are parts of my story I am still learning to understand—how I process, how I feel, how I move through the world. I share these gently, as they unfold, trusting God’s guidance and protection.
This is my testimony.
Not of my strength—
but of His faithfulness.
If you are navigating grief, healing, or the quiet work of becoming—you are welcome here.
With you in the surrender—
and in His holy nearness that restores,
—Michelle Elleana
