Learning How to Stay

I pray to You, Heavenly Father—
the only One who holds me
before I can even find the words,
You knew me before the womb, 

and, I trust You.

I thank You, Jesus—
for Love that chose the cross…
for the suffering You endured in silence—
for what it took to stay there…
and still, You choose me.

And I welcome You, Holy Spirit—
to stay close,
to steady me when I feel uncertain,
to teach my steps, slowly,
how to follow Your guidance…
how to rest in Your peace—
where I am safe.

Amen, and amen…

What you read here is written as I live it—not from arrival, but from where God meets me in the process.

I am not finished.
I am not strong on my own.
I am being sustained.

Everything I have to give flows from Him.
Every word, every breath, every moment of steadiness—comes from His mercy.

This is where I bring my healing before Him.
This is one place I return to in prayer.
This is where I find myself, again and again, in the place where He holds me, and teaches me how to trust what He is restoring.

Nothing here is my own strength.

The work you see is formed in stillness—given in moments where He meets me in my weakness and carries me through. Each piece holds the weight of the season He has walked me through. 

As I stumble, and fall—clumsily—

kept in humility by God’s grace.

Faith, for me, is not rising above the fire.
It is remaining with Him within it—
learning that I am held,

that I am not consumed,
and that He is enough.

From texture to word, everything here reflects a life being shaped by His hands—grief carried gently, identity restored in His timing.
